“Every company using PHP applications depends on a small group of people who keep the language secure. Funding them is the cheapest insurance your stack will ever have.”
People
Your money goes to engineers working on PHP itself. Each of them maintains code that runs in production on millions of servers every day.

You shouldn't have to chase anyone for a proper invoice. Sponsoring PHP should be as easy as paying for any other SaaS subscription.
